Basic Cost/Donation
In 2021 we had great success with our first car camping series. We loved it, but found that we were putting in
a lot of time and effort especially dealing with trying to get people in, no shows, and logistics. On top of that
we pay the meetup fees for the group. Because of these costs and the time spent, we decided to charge a basic
fee for these events this year. Initially we charged $10 but decided to Raise the cost to $15 starting June 1st, 2022
We ask that this be viewed as a donation to help fund the costs associated with running the meetup, the companion
site, as well as other costs and the time spent in organizing these events. These donations are appreciated and
we hope that those who donate appreciate the service we are offering. We do not intend to refund these donations.
Additional Costs
Events that charge more than the basic cost described above do so because of additional costs. In the event of
changes to your RSVP, these funds may be refunded if they are not already been used. If we can refund without
us incurring the cost, we will.
Opt In Costs (Optional)
We may offer optional things like meal sharing and lodging for additional fees. If you choose to opt out after paying the optional fee, a refund will
be give if the funds have not been used and if the funds are not needed to provide the already established price for the others who signed up
(Example 3 people in a room cost less per person than 2 people in a room). In that example, the amount refunded would be the difference in cost
for the room and we would not charge the others more unless they insisted.
Ride Sharing Costs
For those riding in some one else's car; Please remember that gas is only one expense the driver is paying to provide your ride. If you can, be
generous. Paying a few dollars over the price of gas per gallon used is a way to help with the wear and tare. Most if not all drivers are happy to
drive and provide the service to others. If you can help with the cost, it's very appreciated.

I'm not a lawyer. I provide this information to communicate intent. We want all to come and have a great time and hope that we share the costs
so that organizers and participants do not need to shoulder more financial responsibly than reasonably expected. Anyone who tries to take
advantage of others or do not behave with respect and kindness may be excluded form future events. If anyone reading this would like to ask
questions or make comments, we welcome that. We're just interested in creating a fun safe space to meet new people and enjoy the beauty
all around us.
